THE FUTURE LEADER

Mr Nkanyi Msomi the future educator  

This is the future educator who is enthusiastic to teach the young mind who are hungry for knowledge and skill. I will be a teacher who will spend most of his time helping each and every person who will be needing help at any given time or day. I will make sure that i support the learners within the learning environment as well as outside learning environment. I cannot afford to see student messing around with their futures. I want to understand what, how, and why are they feeling like quitting school. I will encourage motivate as well as inspire them to further their study but also provide help to the community as well.

POSTIVE IMPACT

Good evening everyone I hope we are all having a best time of our lives ever since we have started with our teaching practice. I would like to say that I am based at College of Cape town and I  must say I am really enjoying this kind of experience and also I am ready for anything that my mentor would bring on the table. My mentor is a kind of person who is very professional as well as  friendly outspoken guy, who always smiles. The observations are running smoothly and ideally so far. On the first day of my observations during my last period Mr.  Miller asked me to help him with marking, well I must say it was a positive learning curve for me as student teacher who will soon be a profession qualified educator. With all of that being said I would like to wish you all best of luck in your session 1 teaching practice.

UPDATES ON TEACHING PRACTICE PLACEMENT

I have started my day with a positive note today earlier this morning. I have visited College of Cape Town this morning and they have accepted me with warm hands. The have showed me the department of Travel and Tourism as well as Business studies but unfortunately the secretaries where not available so I was told to come back on Monday. I want to also encourage everyone to please do pre- visit to the schools you are allocated at. It will help you to know where to go on the day of teaching practice.
